Great discussion. Risk and uncertainty are different sides of the same coin. The key topic of interest IMO is negligence. This is a combination of omission (what didn’t the coach mandate) and harm (explicit warnings of hurt/harm). This could extend out and include a CLA approach; TIE - task, individual and environment. Is there a defib available? Have the mats been cleaned? Cut toe nails? Free from staph? The tasks however are rarely assessed - just do this technique and hope for the best. De La Riva teaching should come with freephone to local physios 🤣 Leverage and numbers game - love it! Inside/Outside > Segment the limbs > control the big girth in the middle > sprain or strangle something with 5 secs control rule???
